Highline 179

Walk high above the green treetops and marvel at the beautiful Tyrolean mountains: The Highline 179 is the spectacular suspension bridge connecting two important areas of the Ehrenberg castle and the Fort Claudia. This bridge is thrilling and also offers phenomenal views as it takes you from one historic site to the next 114 metres above the ground. The bridge, situated at the Fernpass, is 406 metres long and was opened on the 22nd November 2014, much to the delight of the hundreds of visitors keen to enjoy the experience. In addition, this attraction has been included in the Guiness Book of Records as the longest Tibetan-style suspension bridge.

    We stayed at the Lilie multiple times. The staff is very friendly, and there is a cosy atmosphere. The location is central, allowing day trips to Füssen, Neuschwanstein or across the Fernpass.
